একক বস্তু -পৃথিবী, সূর্য, চন্দ্র, পূর্ব, পশ্চিম, ইত্যাদির পূর্বে

The earth moves round the sun./The moon shines at night.

তারিখের পূর্বে

He will come on the 25th December

Adjective-এর Superlative degree--এর পূর্বে

Akbar was the greatest of all Emperors.

যত--তত বোঝাতে Comparative degree-এরপূর্বে

The more you read, the more you learn

Ordinal numeral (first, second) ইত্যাদির পূর্বে

Edward the seventh left the country / He got the first place

কোনো জাতি ও সম্প্র্রদায়ের নামের পূর্বে

The Bangladeshis are brave./The Indians are very friendly.

ধর্মগ্রন্থ, প্রশিদ্ধ গ্রন্থ, সংবাদ পত্র ও জাহাজের নামের পূর্বে

Noun + clause / phrase হলে ঐ  Noun  র পূর্বে

Road-এর নামের পূর্বে  (Street/Avenue(-এর পূর্বে নয়)

কোনো কিছু দ্বিতীয়বার উল্লেখ করলে তার পূর্বে

Morning, noon,afternoon etc এর আগে in ব্যবহৃত হলে

Proper noun-এর পূর্বে Adjective থাকলে তার পূর্বে

Proper noun এর পূর্বে পদবি বাচক শব্দ থাকলে তার পূর্বে

The poet Nazrul is our pride.

বাদ্যযন্ত্র বাজালে তার পূর্বে

He plays the piano (তবে He has a × guitar of his own.)

অর্থপূর্ণ দেশের নামের পূর্বে

The USA / The UK / The KSA etc

কিছু Phrase-এ
