Specialty and usefulness:Â
Elephants are very unique and fascinating animals. They are very helpful to man. Elephants should not be killed because they help the environment. Elephants actually help the environment by acting like a bulldozer and knocking down useless dead trees. They work as construction equipment that Africa does not have the money for. Without these elephants dead trees would take up many miles of land that could be houses sheltering the poor population of Africa.
After an elephant dies, beautiful and useful articles are made from its bones and tusks, hooks for brushes, buttons, combs etc. It is trained and used in war, circus, zoo etc. Children enjoy elephant ride also.
Challenges and what we should do about it:
Many elephants are killed to produce goods from them. Moreover, many of them are ill-treated and even tortured in zoos, circuses etc. This practice needs to be stopped. We must raise awareness about this issue of animal abuse.
Conclusion:
Animals are our fellow inhabitants in the earth. It is our duty to take care of them.
